Important note: All our scooters are more than 125cc and you need an A' or A1' or A2' driving licence to hire them.
The employ confirms to grant the hirer of his motorcycle to the hirer, who’s the name and signature are in forward page under the terms described here below:
- The hirer confirms the good condition of the motorcycle upon delivery.
- The hirer agrees to return the motorcycle in the same good condition, with all tires, tools and accessories at the date agreed by both parties. Rental period will only be extended with the approval of the owner, otherwise the daily or hourly rent as decided under this agreement, will be surcharged with 50% of the rate agreed.
- No other person is allowed to use the motorcycle except the hirer, who, when driving, should not be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
- The hirer agrees to conform to traffic rules and should not use the motorcycle for racing or other contests, drive through rough ground of sandy areas, or on any other area which may damage the motorcycle or areas where it is forbidden by the Traffic Authorities.
- The hirer agrees that he is only responsible and he must pay all the fines given to the motorcycle at the period mentioned in this rental agreement.
- In the case of whatever damage, the hirer agrees to immobilize the motorcycle in a safe place and inform the owner.
- The hirer acknowledges personal liability upon return of the motorcycle to pay in a full the rent, and all extra charges have occurred due to damages or delays of the agreed return time.
- The hirer is notified that the insurance draw on the motorcycle protects his personal injuries, death or property damages occurred to third parties for the sums of 750.000€ for body injuries, and 750.000€ for material damages. However, the hirer is not covered for the following two causes:
a) If a passenger of the motorcycle has been injured as a result of an accident caused by the hirer.
b) If the motorcycle has been involved in an accident while driven by a person other than the hirer. - In the case of an accident the hirer should report immediately to the owner giving details of the event in full.
- The hirer gives the authorization on the owner company to charge the given credit card of any amount coming up from the terms and rental conditions.
- The hirer must return the motorcycle with the same quantity of fuel.
- Any misunderstanding of disagreements between the owner and the hirer will be under the jurisdiction of the Greek Legal Authorities.
- The tires of the vehicle are not covered by any insurance and their repair is the sole responsibility of the tenant.
